When we arrived we was greeted with a welcome drink. From the reception the hotel looked nice and clean. When we got to our room it was dark it smelt damp and the balcony door was broken as it wouldn't lock. As we was on ground floor this was quite a worry. It took two days for the hotel staff... more

We have just returned from The Grand Oasis Marien - Dominican Republic- 15.07.08 - and we have got to say what a fantastic place this is. Last year when booking the vacation we were told NOT to go in July (thanks Thomson's Taunton) due to the weather as it always chucked it down. Research said it usually rained about 2pm... more
