Hurricane Ike

Category Four Hurricane Ike hit the Turks and Caicos late Saturday. Ike is expected to move over or near the southeastern Bahamas Sunday morning and then near or over eastern Cuba Sunday night into Monday morning. There is a hurricane warning in effect for the Turks and Caicos, some provinces in Cuba and the southeastern Bahamas, and a hurricane watch for the central Bahamas. Tropical storm warnings are in effect in Haiti and the Dominican Republic.

Stayed here for a fortnight from 7 to 21 August 08. What a great setting - as you approach by boat, you get your first glimpses of the island and it gets better from there. There are 3 beaches, 2 of which are private. One has calm seas ideal for snorkeling, the other - which is about 30 yards away... more

My partner and I stayed at this truly amazing and stylish hotel from 7th to 21st August. We travelled with First Choice. This is the place to go if you want a relaxing and fairly quiet holiday.
