I have stayed at this hotel many times due to its location so very close to the airport. Without a doubt, the biggest problem is the speed (or lack of it) of the check-in process. After arriving at the hotel around midnight with a confirmed reservation, the check-in time has never taken less than 20 minutes and sometimes it has... more

Had a good time at the Metropolitan. Very stylish hotel, friendly service and large rooms. Pool is excellent after a hot day in Bangkok. Two things to be aware of - everything at the hotel is expensive by Thai standards - a few drinks at the pool will set you back (Lunch at Cyan restaurant was good though). Secondly, location... more

For a basic hotel this property is grand. The rooms are simple and the bathrooms a bit dated, but the rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. The location is close to a few attractions eg the night markets, the dome. more
