Costa Rica is a beautiful country with delightful people. We had a wonderful vacation there because of several additional factors. First, we contacted Avispa's Adventures. Second, we did not rent a car, instead having Avispa and Gustavo drive us. We were taken to authentic, local restaurants and shown many sights we would have otherwise overlooked. We used Avispas for our two tours while visiting Costa Rica during August 2008. The tours we went on were the Miravalles Volcano Tour and the Palo Verde Riverboat tour.
