Just back from Playa, and it's become quite the hot spot. We stayed in a private home that we rented through a web site, walked everywhere, ate a lot and spent a lot of time on the beach. Just back from Playa Del Carmen, the section called Playacar. Stayed at the Wyndham Azteca. There was plenty of sun and sand. The resort was small but comfortable and the staff was so friendly it hurt to leave them. Most of the resorts are all inclusive. Gone there for one day trip.. I was staying in Cancun.. and I just wasted one day...!!! First of all the water looks dirty and the sand is not white.
