This place is breathtaking. If you go to Banff National park you must stop by and go for a hike here. There are walkways that go right over the river. There are canyons and waterfalls galor. Its absolutely stunning. I cannot descibe it better than breathtaking.... Please go and see for yourself. more

My wife, daughter and I walked into Johnston Canyon and it was wonderful. The plants, the water, the rocks and waterfalls were so beautiful. For the most part, the walk is easy and can be enjoyed by all. Bring plenty of film, because the photo opportunities are numerous. Tihs place is wonderful! The sound coming from the water and the falls is deafening at times! There's a small tunnel, more like a small cave, that leads very next to the first fall, the Lower one. Went for a wonderful walk at Johnston Canyon with the family! Perfect for any age! Wonderful views of waterfalls(there were so many!), friendly little creatures and great picnic at the falls! Refreshing! more
