It seems that the advertisements on the Butchart Garden site is not reflective of how really wonderful the fireworks are!! The show always has music accompainment and a Theme. The sunken garden is the must see section, the rest of the gardens are pretty but didn't bring out the gasps. The Gardens are pretty but off season only one type of flower was blooming, it was a LOT smaller than I thought, took only an hour to go through. It's well laid out and the blue poppies were neat. If you are a flower or garden lover this is a must. Go early and beat the crowds to get pictures without so many people in them. more

Yes, it is pretty. But expect A LOT of people clogging up the paths taking pictures. And we didn't even go during the peak season. The Japanese Garden and Sunken Garden were very nice.
