I had a lot of fun going through this house. It really helps you get a feel for what living in that time was like (including how dangerous Dublin was and how little the servants were allowed to eat). If you are in Dublin with a bit of time on your hands, you should definitely check this place out. more

I really learned a lot on the tour and it was cool to actually get to go inside one of the old houses in the area. more

The visit starts with a brief video that gives the background of the house and the family that first lived there. Visitors then go on a guided tour of the home - our... more

This is one of the little secrets that Dublin has in terms of attractions. It's a restored Georgian House in the period when first was build; it tells the story of the family that lived there, as well as the period, social culture and general life in the 18th Century. The house is beautifully decorated with very interesting artefact as... more

Very well restored Georgian House which has been well furnished with genuine artifacts and furniture of the period to a very high standard. Guided tour is given enthusiastically and with great knowledge in a manner which engages the visitor. We went there as shelter from a rainy afternoon but would recommend it as one of our top 10 sites in... more
