the flowermarket is a great place to visit, you can buy all kind of bulbs, flowers and plants as well as magnets for your fridge with the famous looking houses of amsterdam (grachten huizen)! i bought some and it looks great on my fridge... the people are nice and the market is close to a lot of other nice places... more

Always wonder through the flower market when I am in Amstedam. Don't miss the Christmas shop. Even though the prices are GOOD, it isn't the cheapest place in town to buy flowers. There are flower stalls in lots of places. There is also a plant market every Monday on the square where the Prinsengracht meets the Reguliersgracht. more

We went to the flowermarket and expected to see only flowers. But there was much more to see. Besides fresh flowers there were plants and all kinds of herbs, Cactusses, orchids and many other plants I don't know. A must buy for everybody are bulbs.
