If i was going to give advice to anyone it would be to stick to simple jewellery. I had a ring designed and made by Mashoom Jewellers in the Gold Souk and the diamonds fell out twice. Gold Souk is definetly worth a visit where you have not seen so many shops in one strech selling gold. If you into buying gold then this is the place where you can bargain and buy some good Jewellery. The gold souq is a very interesting place to go see when your in Dubai. Word of advice, don't bother driving there yourself during rushhour...traffic and parking is very bad and a headache!
