Great people, great boat, and great time. We loved seeing the endangered humpbacks, and being with 7 seas was a great experience. I recommend going on the early cruise as the afternoon gets crowded. The company seems to really care about the animals and conservation, and tried to get us away from what they called "the plastics"... the little private... more

My daughter and I went with the 7 Seas Whale Watch out of Cape Ann in Gloucester, Mass. on Friday, 08-22-08. We had a great experience. We saw at least 5-6 whales. First we saw Percius traveling alone; then other whales by the names of Percussion, Cella, and others. We saw three whales traveling together that was impressive enough; the... more

This experience was absolutely wonderful! We saw so many whales and the crew was so friendly and helpful. My husband is in a wheelchair and everyone was very accommodating, and the boat was very comfortable and easy for him to get around on. I never thought that it would be such an educational trip, and my kids, ages 3, 7,... more

We went on a whale watch with 7 Seas out of Gloucester, Ma. on July 19, 2008. Nothing but good things to say. It was the best!!! Saw lots of whales feeding, tail slapping and even a young calf that breeched about 8 times in a row. We were fasinated how the gulls would swoop down for the leftovers when... more

What an incredible experience. The naturalist on board gives an excellent presentation before embarking and when the boat reaches the feeding area. The boat is fast, comfortable and not crowded. Another whale watching boat at the feeding grounds had people crammed onto the decks. With 7 Seas, you could easily move from side to side to follow the whales. Other... more

This was my first whale watch and it was beyond expectation. We saw 16 Humpback Whales, 3 Minke Whales and 1 basking shark which swam right up alongside the boat. There was also potential to see Dolphins and seal which they had seen on the morning trip. The close encounters with these magnificent creatures was unexplainable. I can't stop thinking... more

The web-site for this Whale Watch Company advertises that the reason you should go on a whale watch with them is because of their wonderful Privateer IV boat. It's amazing how much the web-site talks about this. Most customer reviews talk about how great the boat is. Imagine how disappointed we were when we went on a much older, much... more

Excellent experience. The best thing is that they do not pack people on the boat like I have seen with other whale watching experiences. Would recommend to anyone!! more
