My husband and I drove out here on our last day in Vegas. Well worth the short drive. We went out there late afternoon and the sky was beautiful as the sun was setting. A definite thing to do while in Vegas. A great way to get away from all the chaos of the casinos etc. more

See, now I'm rating nature. It seems a little wrong to do that, but I am advising people here after all, so I guess I'm justified. The national parks and "conservation areas" like this in the desert southwest are magnificent, and this isn't any exception. If you've been to Zion or Bryce Canyon, you'll find some of the rock formations... more

Nice place to get away from the strip. It's not a very far drive. Beautiful scenery. If visiting in March bring a jacket!! It's so much cooler there than on the strip. I was freezing the whole time. more

This was a great idea and such a contrast to the big city in the desert. Neil was great. He was ready for everything - I had a Aussie hat but he had extra hats and backpacks and snacks and even lip balm. I took a half day trip away from The Strip with the kids and really enjoyed the scenery. Well worth the $5 entry fee and an easy drive from the strip, 30-40 minutes.
