One of six working carousels in the region given by George F. Johnson, this is a 60 animal carousel. Patrons can ride for free. Located next to Ross Park Zoo and Discovery Center. This carousel was made in 1920 it is in good condition. Carousel enthusiasts will enjoy the visit as will small children. My 3-year old nephew loved this... more

This carousel, like the others in Binghamton, are not housed in an amusement park. This one, in particular, is housed in a small dated zoo whose accrediation is threatened (maybe gone) and that has only a few animals that pace in small cages.
