If you go to New York then you have to go to Broadway and not just any part but of course the theatre district. Whatever you think about the price of the tickets you shoud just suck it up and do it for no other reason than to say you have. We went to see Wicked and it was an... more

My 1st Broadway experience, will be hard to top. What an amazing experience! Great story line, amazing performances, the latin rythms, Latin Hip Hop, Salsa, fantastic! A universal storyline about home, striving to leave humble beginnings, remembering where we come from, family, community, finding love, male female relationships, the immigrant experience from a latin perspective. It will resound deeper if... more

I can't even begin to express my extreme love for Broadway. Even non traditional theater goers will appreciate the intricacy of the storylines, lyrics, and set. There's a show for everyone, whether straight play or musical/ comedy or romance/ thriller or mellow. I've been to AIDA, Spring Awakening, Avenue Q, Passing Strange, A Chorus Line, Rent, Spamalot, Beauty and the... more

Never been to NY, never saw a Broadway show. Went to Mama Mia and LOVED IT. The talent was amazing. My husband liked their versions of the songs better than ABBA's. We wish we had planned on seeing more shows while we were there. When planning our trip I was not sure I wanted to take time for a show... more

My husband has always refused to watch musicals - he won't watch musical films or anything with singing in. However, at my Nans funeral recently 'Think of me' was played and when he heard it was from Phantom, he agreed to go to see it with me whilst visiting NYC at the end of May. He really enjoyed it. We... more

What a great show! We thoroughly enjoyed it. However, there were a lot of kids that could not sit still. That was the only drawback! more

Just returned from a Sweet 16 trip - if you are going to B'way (especially with children) , read these TIPS... First, Broadway is one of the most vibrant, exciting spots in the world, a brilliant cacophony of sound, lights, bus traffic, people of all kinds, etc... My daughter was thrilled, but if your child is timid or easiy overwhelmed,... more

My sister and I saw 3 shows while in NYC. Wicked, Avenue Q and Spring Awakening. We bought our Wicked tickets months before the trip but got the tickets to Spring Awakening and Avenue Q from the TKTS booth at South Street Seaport. We heard the line in Times Square was crazy so we decided to go to South Street... more
