This is a great state park in Texas, near Austin. Beautiful river. You can swim in it if it's not too low. Watch out for rattlesnakes. I was almost bit walking back to our campsite from the river. Me and my kids explored this park by ourselves without the help of my husband. So that in itself is a accomplishement! We hiked the river rocks as the river was very low that day. This park is very nice get away in the hill country. The staff is very friendly and the park facilities a some of the cleanest anywhere. more
