“Nice quiet hotel with a great location”

This hotel is located in Shinagawa area which is on the JR line. Its about a 5 minute downhill walk to the station and a 10 minute walk uphill on the way back!!. The JR line had all the stops which we wished to visit. A train ticket for the JR line only costs around £7 a day. The hotel... more

I stayed in The Takanawa Hotel for 2 nights and it was fabulous. It was in an excellent location, a short (slightly uphill) walk from Shinagawa station. Shinagawa station is easily accessed by the airport by the Narita express, other parts of Japan by the Shinkansen (bullet train) and other train lines that will take you to other hot spots... more
