We stayed at the Villas for 5 days and loved every minute of it. You really feel like you're in the tropics, with the ocean at your front door. It is a beautiful place. It is neat and clean, and the staff are warm and helpful. The owner, Phil, is extremely knowledgeable about the island and everything Aruba has to... more

Prior to booking a 1 bdrm villa, I had read a lot of reviews on this site. We are budget travelers and seek out exactly the type of place the ABV seems to be. However I was pretty disappointed in the facilities. The bathroom shower curtain had dark mold spots on it. How expensive is that to change? The ceiling... more

My wife and our 24 year son took a two bedroom suite Jan 10-13, 2008. We had a great time. Phil set us up, with kite board lessons that were fun and exciting. We enjoyed the 3 minutes walk down and back to the fisherman huts for our lessons. The suite was very clean, very big and had a beautiful... more

Based on reviews we thought we would give this a try. We were completely disappointed. We had a one bedroom studio that is in need of a lot of work. The bathroom was old, moldy and in need of a major overhaul. The kitchen too was old and needed some work. There were only two electric burners but only one... more

Great location for windsurfing!!! We loved Michaela at the hotel. Excellent location if all you want to do is windsurf (actual windsurfing is better out of the trailers near fisherman's huts - better conditions, beach, etc.) Very convenient. Michaela was great. Ate dinner out most nights at good spots: best value on island, hands down, is Wacky Wahoos (near the... more

The other reviews pretty much sum up the great value that you are getting with this place. We had a garden room that had a decent size kitchen that provided the basics that you need, a queen size bed and a daybed. It also had a lot of storage space so that you could put everything away and not feel... more

While the units are older & in need of some updating our 1 bedroom unit was roomy & clean. The staff was friendly & helpful. Great ocean views. The pool was clean & the grounds well maintained. The bus stop across the street is very convenient . more

My husband and I recently returned from a week at the Aruba Beach Villas and I had to review it. The most obvious thing about this hotel is the view and location. It is a half mile north of the Marriot and is walking distance to both the high rise hotel district as well as some great snorkeling spots in... more

There is no better place to stay in Aruba for a Single, Couple or Family, that doesn't want the hustle and bustle of a busy Hotel. The rooms are clean, modern and furnished and have daily housekeeping except on Sundays. The Pool is perfect and the atmosphere is peaceful and quiet. The Ocean view rooms have in my opinion the... more
