We picked this resort because of the reviews & we are happy we did. It was a nice clean resort. I liked the lobby being open air. The only problem we had with the resort was the individual at the front desk. I asked for an ocean view room & was told there were none available. She even left the... more

My husband and I came back to Aruba for a friend's wedding which was held at the Renaissance. The wedding was beautiful, so that was nice, but the hotel itself is just okay. It is a little bit cheesy and the boat ride to the private island was highly annoying. It took about 20-30 mins for a boat to come... more

I stayed 3 nights at the Renaissance. We stayed at the marina hotel supposedly reserved for "adults", which means the atmosphere is young, poshy. We liked it even though when we arrived the hotel was under huge renovation. The room was nicely furnished. The hotel lobby was really nice and classy. I really loved the jellyfish tank behind the reception desk.really... more

My husband and I stayed here for our recent honeymoon at the end of July/beginning of August. What a wonderful hotel! The pool is awesome with its swim up bar. The bartenders are all so nice and friendly! The room in the ocean suites is great! If you are looking for a place to stay as a couple - this... more

I just got back from my honeymoon in Aruba and my husband and I loved our stay at the Renaissance. We stayed at the Ocean Suites however we did go over to the family resort to enjoy the bar scene at night. It was amazing that as a guest you could enjoy the amenities of both resorts. My husband used... more

I stayed at the adult only hotel and this place was amazing. You are right in the middle of everything, really don't need a car and have a private island to go to. The private island has an adult side, family side, nature walk, outdoor cafe with WIFI access, tennis courts, a gym, massage stations, lounge chair service and hammocks... more

Having visited Aruba twice before on cruises we decided to stay for 2 weeks and were wooed by the speedboat, private island image of this hotel. Just wish we had checked it our first. For the money we paid, nearly £200 per night ( and I got an upgrade from island suite due to mix up with response to an... more

We stayed at the Marina Towers Hotel, Room 1658. We had a perfect view out at the marina and ocean, which was beautiful. However, they initially put us in an awful room, very small, which had a window looking into the center of the hotel, where the mall was. It was miserable. I was in the room for about 2... more

The hotel was nice but nothing special or above average. As far as a beach at the hotel there really isn't one except for the small lagoon. The pool was ok in size but I didnt find it to be clean one day that were there out of 8. The island was the only thing worth staying at this hotel... more

We stayed at the Ocean suites from 7/16-7/27/08. We were in room 2452 and had a great view of the bay east of the hotel. When we checked in the hotel was overbooked and gave us a room on the opposite end of the hotel overlooking the parking lot. They apologized for the inconvenience but moved us to an ocean... more
