If you're looking for a busy, action packed, mainstream americanised resort, then Lime Tree Farm is not for you! However if you are after seclusion, natural beauty, peace, a homely atmosphere and personal service then this off-the-beaten-track spot is highly recommended! The journey is fairly epic up pot-holed mountain roads, but it is worth every bone-shaking moment when you arrive... more

Our stay at Limetree Farm was one of our best holidays ever. Its location is simply stunning perched high above the blue tinged forest with sweet smells and music often drifting in the air from far below. The breakfast cooked by Suzie were divine as were the authentic jerk chicken dinners. We visited the stunning beach at Frenchman's Cove, Noel... more

I have visited Jamaica many times and the mountains are my favorite part of the country. I located Lime Tree Farm's web site this summer and communicated with Charlie directly by email. From his first quick response it was all great. Lime Tree delivered more than promised, the food was wonderful and the meals around the large table were so... more

Family holiday in July 2007. Went with husband and two children. An amazing place well worth a visit if you are looking for something different. The 'road' to the farm is not for the faint hearted and would recommend that you get Charlie (the owner) to pick you up from Kingston, but the journey is well worth it and an... more

Weeks after our far too short a stay at Lime Tree Farm, my wife and I continue to reflect back on, and delight in sharing with friends and travelers, our extremely fond memories of Lime Tree Farm. Perched atop a beautiful hill high up in the verdant Blue Mountains of Jamaica, Lime Tree Farm offers comfortable, well-appointed cottage accommodations with... more

Sublime is just one word to describe a few days we spent at Lime Tree Farm. The road up is SHOCKING but that is part of the fun of being away from home, sort of. The views are wonderful; if you suffer from jetlag the sunrises are fantastic in the morning as a tonic. The cottages are light really spacious... more

Blue Mountains Jamaica - Lime Tree farm - Jan 2008 Just returned from a great holiday in Jamaica and one of the highlights was Lime Tree Farm set amongst glorious mountain views in the Blue Mountains. The cottages are well furnished and spotlessly clean and the views from them are stupendous. The food is excellent - cooked by Susie and... more

My fiancé and I spent just 4 nights here, but we were so relaxed by the time we left it felt like weeks. Lime Tree Farm is a really special place that feels totally removed from the world outside. There is no internet or TV and only intermittent mobile reception, and getting there is a bumpy 1hr 30mins drive from... more

Hi we spent a very relaxing time at Lime Tree in one of the beautiful cottages with fantastic views of the surrounding countryside. Many thanks to Charlie and Susie for making our break so special, not forgetting of course the enigmatic Leroy. Keith Piper & Tracey Menyena more

Six years ago, my husband and I made our first trip to Jamaica on the occasion of our 25th Wedding Anaversary. We loved the all inclusive resort we stayed in, but felt we wanted to see the real Jamaica. However, we were timid about stepping ourside the comfort of the usual tourist sites. Two years ago we did the bicycle... more
