Stayed for 10 nights... Nice looking hotel, the room had 2 double beds but it was dark and plain. No view, no real window to look out -the building has a rap around porch. We spent 2 nights here just to avoid the exhorbitant prices at Copa Marina since we were on a business trip and weren't going to be lounging on the beach. We stayed here for two nights, Sunday through Tuesday. The grounds are lovely, even more charming than the photos suggest. The location is secluded--a rental car is definitely needed--and very quiet. Parador Guanica 1929 is definitely not for the resort crowd. However, for those who want quiet, safe lodgings as a jumping off spot for exploring the southwest part of Puerto Rico, this hotel is fine. This is a great place for travellers who are self-sufficient - there is nothing happening in Guanica or the surrounding towns. We loved the "off the beaten track" location - near some gorgeous beaches and 40 minutes from both Ponce and the West Coast of PR.
