I have to say our stay the Mayan Palace Acapulco was just OK. We were suppose to have a 2 bedroom 2 bath condo that was to sleep 8 but we ended up having a 2 one bedroom one bath units with two couches in each for one couple to sleep on. Basically what I'm saying is that they do... more

Our experience could have been much better... The place is very nice and clean however the palace rooms are old and have an uncomfortable smell with the view of construction... The staff in the restaurants and around the resort are more then nice but the front desk service is not so pleasant... This is weird due to the fact that... more

We stayed June 1st-8th, booking thru RCI timeshare. Me, my spouse and 2 children. First of all the rooms are ok...the king size bed in bedroom was plenty big, but my kids barely fit on the sleeper sofas. They clean your room 2x day...which is really nice. When we first entered the Mayan...the entrance and views were GORGEOUS...very Aztec-inspired. All... more

My wife and I stayed at the Mayan Palace Resort for 1 week during the week of April 26. We liked the resort overall. The pools are cleaned and have plenty of lounge chairs. There is plenty of beach to enjoy. However, the water is not as clear as Cancun beaches. The cost of the food is moderate. The room... more

The Grand Mayan , Mayan Palace and Sea Garden are all in one Acapulco location but worlds apart in their quality. The Mayan Palace is 15 years old and the rooms show it. The pool is fine because it is shared with the Grand Mayan . The Sea Garden is about 12 years old and is very isolated from the... more

My wife and I and another couple in or late 50's stayed the first week in April. This was the 3rd Mayan Palace where we have vacationed and the best. We are owners and we found the property to be one of the most beautiful. Everything went fantastic from check in to check out. The meals were very good to... more

Had a great time in Acapulco Mex. The mayan Palace was a very nice place to stay. Staff was helpful as could possibly be, management did little to enhance the experiance. If you do not happen to be an owner at the resort, you get treated just a tad differently. This is evidenced by the different colored wristbands issued at... more

Stayed at the Mayan Palace Acapulco for one week (April 26 - May 3, 2008). I was joined by a guest. Originally there were to be four or five of us, but the unit, which was secured through a timeshare exchange, was supposedly comfortable to sleep five. Plain and simple, five would have been uncomfortable. Four would be the max.... more

The Acapulco location is away from the city on Revolcadero Beach and not on the bay itself. This was ideal for us as we don't like to be in a crowded area. The hotel grounds were beautiful and well kept and the staff friendly. The pool was nice and there were plenty of chairs and shade if you prefer. The... more

Mayan Palace - Acapulco Our Wonderful Trip to the “Mayan Palace” - Acapulco Dean & Rubina Ontario, Canada Vacationed on April 19 to 26, 2008 Dean and I returned from a trip to Acapulco recently. Arrangements were made by RCI to stay at the Mayan Palace. The grounds, beach and pool were absolutely beautiful. Hopefully, the old Mayan atmosphere and... more
