My fiancé and I stayed at the Dreams Resort during the last week in September 2008 and had an amazing time. The resort is nestled between the mountains and has a beautiful view and private beach. The resort has a quiet, relaxing atmosphere, and I would highly recommend it to couples and families. I would not recommend it for the... more

We just got back on 9/15 - Lots to say! Puerto Vallarta Airport is crazy on the inbound - walk past the first 2 sets of glass doors - the vendors pretend to be with your hotel but they are selling tours - a waste of time! Wait until you see your tour rep (outside) before stopping - trust me!... more

We went to Puerto Vallarta Dreams from September 3 through September 9, 2008. This was our first time to PV during the rainy season. Arrival from the airport went very smooth. As suggested on Puerto Vallarta trip advisor forum, we used a porter from the baggage claim. He got us through the timeshare sharks with no hazel and took us... more

So there are some good and not so good things about the dreams resort in PV, so let's start with the good. The location is fantastic, only a $5 cab ride to town, so while the all inclusive option is great, I still like to go to town and explore which was a very easy and quick thing to do.... more

Visited Dreams for 8 days in September 2008. First off, regarding the location-I was unaware how rainy it really was during Low - Season. It rained all day for 5 out of the 8 days and rained for at least 3 hours each day on the other days. It was also EXTREMELY hot. Humidity was next to unbearable. Which played... more

This all inclusive resort needs some major renovations. The elevators rarely worked for the 5 nights I was there. Lucky for me I was on the third floor and just always took the stairs. The bathrooms are old & tired. Rusty spots, an open drain, old fixtures (see photos). I expected more. The rooms are generic and poorly decorated. There... more

We just returned from our honeymoon at Dreams. It was amazing. We booked our stay through applevacations.com and would definitely recommend it. They called us before our trip and informed us that the newer tower we had booked would be closed. They also refunded the extra money we paid for the junior suite. When we arrived at the airport in... more

It was three years since we went, but still consider it one of the best trips I've had. We went on our honeymoon, and it was absolutely wonderful. We had a jacuzzi on the balcony which was very nice place to enjoy the beautiful sunsets. Beach was nice to layout, we were not hounded by vendors. Drinks were great, food... more
