This hotel by far is one of the best places to stay in Zihuatanejo. I have stayed at many different luxury places throughout Mexico and the service my wife and I received was unimaginable. Alfredo and the rest of the 5 employees made our honeymoon a truly memorable and enjoyable stay. We stayed for 8 days and each morning the... more

If money were no object and I decided to pick the most spectacular setting in the world to build an intimate, exquisite facility that could meet my every need for a get-away from a hectic life, it would look just like Casa Cuitlateca. We spent 7 nights there and didn't want to leave. As you approach the facility, either over... more

My fiance and I had an amazing time at Casa Cuitlateca last month! We had to pinch each other everyday when we woke up to the beautiful view outside our bedroom glass doors! Alfredo, the hotel manager and the rest of the staff were wonderfully accomodating! Anything we needed, Alfredo was there- whether it was a complimentary ride downtown or... more

We arrived at the hotel in the early evening. The driveway is very steep so as the taxi spins its tires trying to get to the top of the hill just keep saying to yourself the view must be unreal...There is no formal entrance so cross the foot bridge and just to the right of the infinity pool is the... more

If you are looking for privacy, comfort, peaceful atmosphere with a spectacular view...this is the place! There are only five rooms is Casa Cuitlateca (pronounced Cweet-la-teca) but they are all beautiful with powerful a/c and most with stunning views. The grounds and garden are gorgeous and immaculate. The pool is perfect with crystal clear, clean cool water that you will... more

Casa Cuitlateca is heaven on earth! My husband and I spent 10 days there and were married on La Ropa beach during our visit. The staff was very attentive and catered to our every need. No matter how many annoying questions I had, they were always polite and prompt with our requests. The breakfasts in the morning are a great... more

Having the previous reviews I was very skeptical of my upcoming stay. Boy, have things apparently CHANGED for the BETTER! I just returned from Z and want to set the record straight. First, the house has just reopened after (apparently) a substantial upgrade and renovation. The entire property was in great shape, including the rooms, grounds, and infinity pool. The... more

My wife and I stayed at the once beautiful Casa Cuitlateca. It was winter of 1998. The CASA at that time was newly opened. We had a beautiful room, great food and wonderful service. The manager, a lovely, blond, petite lady was the delight of the place. SHE was, in part the reason our stay was grand. We needed faxes... more

Once upon a time Casa Cuitlateca was the ultimate secluded Zihuatanejo getaway. Beautiful views, architecture, service, food, etc. Rogelio was managing and his wife was cooking the excellent food. Times have changed...Terry Cahill replaced Rogelio as the manager and replaced Rogelio's wife with a woman he was dating. The relationship didn't work out, the new cook quit and Terry lost... more

We actually were engaged here several months ago and hoped to return for our wedding...we were devastated to learn it's already booked! The rooms are a nice size with beautiful architecture. The grounds are simply stunning -- the plants, flowers and landscaping are beyond comparison. Hot breakfasts were delicious, and Rogelio just took care of us. He helped my fiance... more
