2 nights too many at this "resort" in August. Front desk staff devoid of pleasantries. Room we were allocated was next to restaurant kitchen. Complaints? We have a few ...staff sat outside our window for their "smoko", kitchen door banged constantly as they came & went, noise of dumping of garbage & bottles being emptied into skip bin throughout the... more

We stayed here for 2 nights in July with a family of 6. When we arrived at about 5 in the afternoon, our appertment wasn't reacdy yet and we had to wait for another hour. The appartment was quite old and really dark, and small for six adults. There's one seperate bedroom, three beds upstairs and one couch to sleep... more

We booked the Japer Inn in January after being unable to find anything cheaper, such as a B&B. It was by far the most expensive accommodation on our recent trip to Alberta and British Columbia, but I don't think it merits the rates it charges. The bedroom was a reasonable size and the bathroom was clean. There was a laminated... more

Stayed here for 2 nights in Aug 2008. Not satisfied. On the second day, a mouse ran across my feet and under the fridge. The hotel put out sticky mouse traps along the walls. I have 3 young children, including one baby. Try keeping a crawling baby away from a mouse trap! When I complained to the hotel, they offered... more

Firstly we were upgraded to a suite for free so things started off very well. It had a great shower/two queen beds/double jacuzzi and small fridge which was perfect. The buffet breakfast ($14) was fantastic and highly recommended. There are limited choices in Jasper and some really sketchy looking places (even this place didn't look good but the rooms were... more

We stayed two nights in a loft room and were pleased with this choice for our two-night stay in Jasper. We would happily have stayed longer and, with its kitchenette, this could be a good-value option for a longer stay. With its fireplace it must also be very cosy for a winter holiday. The room was very well equipped and... more

Shame on Moon handbook for describing this as a "modern chateau-style lodging of brick and red cedar." This is a BASIC motel - I have no idea where they got this description from. The only thing nice about it is the flowers planted by the front office and the patio of the restaurant. I did like being able to walk... more

A motel style facility - not as central as some other hotels - good breakfast included in deal price. Note the breakfast deal was not offered it had to be asked for. Room - loft style - clean, comfortable, quiet. Recommended Overall good value for Jasper. more

This place was terrible. Charged $300 for a junky filthy suite (if you can call it that). We were so disappointed. First time in Jasper and we get bad service at the front desk. Internet is only available if you book a business suite (????), pool and hot tub are across the parking lot. The room and balcony were disgusting.... more

This hotel is too expensive by around $100. They have recently done a cosmetic removation of this 1970s hotel, but forgot to update the kitchenettes and the bathroom plumbing - both are still from the early 1970s and are poor to say the least. The plumbing in the rooms is dangerous - beware of the showers as they will alternately... more
