Overall: A decent hotel in a good location. Location: Right on the downtown waterfront near the convention centre. Check in: No issues Facility: We used it several days for business and personal so we did not use any facilities such as the pool. The hotel does have a restaurant, pool and exercise room and is connected to an underground shopping... more

Being a regular business traveler, and never having stayed in a Fairmont property before, I admit that I was actually quite keen to experience a Fairmont property. Unfortunately it was a very disappointing experience... On arrival at around 22H00 no porter was available to assist with 4 pieces of luggage (I contrast this to a recent stay at another chain... more

The Fairmont waterfront is a great choice in Vancouver. I was given a complimentary upgrade to a Portside Deluxe room (oceanview) on the 21st floor. The room had a huge cushy king size bed - incredibly comfortable! The room also had an LCD TV and all new furniture. Herons Restaurant downstairs is excellent, but not cheap. The service and food... more

My partner & I stayed here the night we arrived (exhausted) from Australia. From the doormen to reception to breakfast staff, everyone was professional, prompt, friendly & welcoming. We travelled through the Rockies then returned for a further 3 nights. I had requested on check-out whether we could have a room on a higher floor (the first night was on... more

Nice stay for a weekend meeting. Had a large deluxe room on the 19th floor with view of North Van, mountains and harbour. King size bed very comfy, LCD TV, etc. Heard the sea planes but that adds to the waterfront nuance. Staff pleasant and very helpful. Skip buffet breakfast. Underground mall includes Tim's, and Starbucks right across the street... more

We spent two nights here before flying out of Canada. We upgraded to The Fairmont Gold on arrival which meant we had use of a private lounge, with added facilities such as cocktail hour hors d'oeuvres and a complimentary deluxe continental breakfast. It was too wet to use the terrace but the extra space of the lounge made our stay... more

We stayed at the Fairmont while in town for a convention across the street at the convention center. We had a deluxe Harbor view room on the 18th floor. The room was a little bit small but the view was wonderful. You can hear the sea planes taking off and landing during the day and also the construction but it's... more

This hotel is direcly across the street from the cruise ship terminal/convention center. Our convention rate was $227 per night. The restaurant food was excellent! The dungeness crab soup was $14 a bowl and worth every spoonful. Housekeeping came everyday by 9:30am. Free local papers were delivered daily. Free coffee in the lobby at 6am is awful! Free bottled water... more
