This hotel had a lot of positives. The hotel itself is nice, the rooms are HUGE , the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was large, the rooms were clean and the staff was nice and they have free coffee in the lobby and a free continental breakfast. So why only the neutral rating? There were also some things that were... more

Even though the room was nice with a fireplace, sink and fridge, it was literally one street away from a drug-infested ghetto. I did not feel safe walking around the neighborhood of this hotel. They also have a mandatory $25 daily fee for valet parking. They won't let you park your own car. I would not stay at this hotel... more

My husband booked this one through Orbitz, and I usually do the booking so should have been sure he didn't use them. It's awful to go through a 3rd party, especially when something goes wrong and they don't want to fix it. The hotel advertises itself as a completely non-smoking facility, which is something we like to look for, but... more

I stayed at this hotel last week and arrived on a cold snowy and rainy day, so was very moody to begin with! the hotel rooms were nice and clean, I had a sofa, fridge, microwave, sink, a safe, desk, TV and drawers. there were no wardrobes. The view was boring and was some kind of side street and a... more

My friends and I were on a road trip from New York to Montreal, by way of Niagara Falls and Toronto. We stayed at the Comfort Suites, City Centre, for two nights and were very pleased with it. The hotel is clean, and spacious. Nothing special, but comfortable and well equipped. Nice, albeit small, pool and hot tub on the... more

Jan 18, 2008 I recently spent 5 days in Toronto and stayed at the Comfort Suites City Center with my boyfriend. We found the room to be clean and the staff all seemed to be both helpful and friendly. We had a suite with 1 queen bed which also had a desk, a sofa, mini fridge and microwave it was your... more

After my reservation at a different hotel was cancelled prior to my visit, I was desperate to find a room in Toronto for a Saturday night in September '05. After searching endlessly what seemed like a sold out night in the city, I finally stumbled upon this place online. Without even checking anything about the place, I just booked it.... more

After reading some of the negative reviews on this site about this hotel and the neighbourhood it's in, I was apprehensive as I arrived for my stay. But as it turned out, the hotel was great and the neighbourhood wasn't bad at all. We had a nice, quiet room on the top floor, and the service from the front desk,... more

I stayed at the Comfort Suites at the end of September with my wife and daughter and enjoyed our stay, As mentioned by others the hotel is not situated in the best of area's but having seen other hotels most appeared to be in area's in need of updating. The Hotel staff were friendly and sorted any minor problems quickly.... more

The room was pretty cheap so I can't complain too much. The hotel is on the newer side, internet was free, room clean, and the complimentary breakfast saved me a few bucks every day. The onsite restaurant, Caseys, is a great spot to dine casually. But the service from the front desk was just terrible. My TV stopped working at... more
