This hotel is a great place to stay for those on a budget. We paid only $139. per night plus $12. for onsite parking (you have to leave your car keys at the front desk because the lot is small and cars are double and triple parked). It's on a very charming stretch of the Grande Allee with lots of... more

The Chateau Grande Allee is a nice little hotel, very well situated. Its near good restorants and is a perfect spot if you want to enjoy Quebec City nightlife. Its also a short walk to the Old City. The Rooms was charming (European Style) with brick walls and a big bathroom. The Breakfast is not much but does the job!... more

If you're traveling on a budget, this is the hotel you'll want. The receptionists are very responsive, and the location is perfect - it's only a few minutes from all of the major sites. They even cleaned off my car overnight after about a foot of snowfall. The complimentary breakfast was good and the late checkout (noon) was also great.... more

We stayed here for the Winter Carnival. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were private, quiet and nice! The breakfast was perfect. The location was also very good. The only thing is make sure you tell the hotel you want parking because the lot is small. more

My stay at the Chateau Grande Allee was fantastic! The location of it was in my opinion one of the best streets within the old city walls. Everything was in very close proximity, especially dining which could be found right outside the door. The variety of dining was great. I highly recommend for breakast the Cosmos Cafe which i believe... more

I stayed for 3 nights in this hotel for a good price of 99 dollars plus tax. I traveled by train from Toronto and it was nice and easy. Scenery beautiful and the train station close to the hotel. It's right at the centre of things, Rue Grand Allee, restaurants everywhere. The hotel offers you continental breakfast for 7 dollars... more

A pretty hotel in a great location, on a beautiful street, in walking distance to the Old Town. Very clean. Parking in back, reasonable charge. Very helpful staff. Lots of restaurants nearby and the desk has a book with restaurants by type, including a section of bring your own wine restaurants. The breakfast is not great. For breakfast, walk to... more

I must say that my stay did not get off to a great start by any means. I was there with a tour group going to Ste-Anne and when we first arrived most of us were disappointed that there were no elevators (most in the group were well into their 60s). Secondly, the person at the front desk did not... more
