Lovely clean rooms, very comfy beds, great breakfast and excellent service. Unfortunately visited Kendal as had family in hospital but was made to feel very welcome and although the owners knew the circumstances, they were very caring without being intrusive. Would highly recommend and know I'll be back but for a holiday next time. more

We stayed for 2 nights & would thoroughly recommend Balcony House. Our family of 5 had a double room with a sofa bed and the twin room next door, both rooms were very clean and comfortable.
