A few of us at work were looking for a place to stay in Dublin for the All-Ireland football final without having to take out a second mortgage for that weekend. We noticed a poster advertising Kilronan House placed in the hospital we work in so we gave them a call. The price was more than reasonable considering the weekend... more

The Kilronan House exceeded all my expectations of a Guest House in Dublin. It was only by chance that I decided to stay at the Kilronan as it was a busy night in the City and all Hotels were doing the usual by charging "through the roof" for a bed! As a person that books quite a lot of room... more

Accommodation booked through Expedia, accurate description on web-site. Welcoming staff, very comfortable room on first floor and the breakfast was excellent. Good value in a good location. more

We stayed here three nights. The staff here were attentive and tried to be helpful. They didn't have many recommendations for restaurants, but the few they suggested were all good. The breakfasts are great; lots of choices including the "full Irish breakfast" which should hold anyone until dinner. BUT our first room was tiny and cramped, with a view of... more

This bed and breakfast was a pleasant surprise. The location is fantastic and it's in a very nice part of town. You can walk to the shopping area of town in 10 minutes. The rooms are small but ours was quiet and the beds were very comfortable. We stayed in room 18 which is a good room because it faces... more

My friend and I stayed at Kilronan House for three nights. After e-mails with Laura, we received exactly the room we asked for, on the floor above reception. The reception staff were very warm and friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We also liked their genuine interest, at the end of the day, in how our day had gone. Our... more

Just returned from a long weekend at Kilronan House and had a lovely time. Great location, just around the corner from St Stephen’s Green and not far from the Grafton Street shops. It felt really safe to walk the area, even at night. Although our twin room wasn’t very big, it was fine, with small en-suite, flat screen tv, hairdryer,... more

I've chosen Kilronan house for its fab position 5' from Stephen's green. Its fares are comparable to the cheap B&B north of town, but it's really close to the centre, to pubs, to companies and historical sites. The rooms are in the average for guest houses. The breakfast is a very strong selling point for Kilronan house: the menu is... more

Stayed here for three nights. The guesthouse is fairly central but away from noisy night clubs and bars which drags down many places in Dublin. You can easily walk into the centre, especially during the day when the St Stephen’s Green park is open. The staff are friendly and helpful but overall it is an average place to stay. It... more

We stayed at Kilronan House for three nights at the end of our trip to Ireland. On previous visits we have stayed in Ballsbridge but we decided to try something closer to the city center. It is difficult for me to understand some of the extreme reactions, either positive or negative, expressed on this website as I found this small... more
