This hotel is very clean and has a good, complimentary breakfast in the morning. I would give it a two star rating. People are friendly. Unfortunately I didn't read other reviews before staying so was dismayed to find it in the middle of all the sex shops and shows. The room was fine and I figured it was safe. Went to Frankfurt for the Christmas market. What you should know: The hotel is in the middle of the red light district; there are brothels, strip clubs, etc. around. If that bothers you, go somewhere else.
