A short walk from the Termini train station made the location of this hotel very good. The friendly staff, nice rooms, and great breakfast buffet made it a very enjoyable stay. Each morning they posted weather reports, traveller's advisories, and tips for doing things in Rome. We were very impressed with the friendliness and helpfulness of the entire staff. more

This hotel has a good location for sightseeing. Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, Piazza Novona, and the Spanish Steps are within walking distance, and it is conveniently located for metro and bus service to other destinations. We were in room #7, which faces busy Via Nationale. However, good windows kept street noise out of the room, and we slept well. Our... more

This hotel is within walking distance of every major site in Rome. Other than the Vatican, you can walk just about anywhere in 15-20 minutes. Their is a subway stop at the Republica about 2 blocks up the street that stops right in front of the Vatican. We took this to the Vatican and walked back to the Hotel without... more

We stayed in Hotel Cortina for 1 night. We have a family of 3 (2 adults, 1 child) and I would have to say, the room was very small for the price- as many European hotels are. When I made the reservation on the phone, I spoke to Angelo, whom was very nice and helpful. When we arrived, there were... more

Our family of 6 spent 2 nights in Rome as I was running the Rome Marathon. We have 4 children under eight and were concerned with finding a hotel that was close to the Colosseum since the race started there and we didnt want to have to use public transportaton. The hotel is about a 20 to 30 minute walk... more

This was my second time to Rome. On my first visit the location of our hotel wasn't great so that was a big factor in choosing Hotel Cortina. As location goes hotel Cortina is ideal. It is on the busy via Nazionale. This is within walking distance of most of the sights within the city and very close to a... more
