I am just back from my stay in Italy. I spent a week in Rome and I stayed at ABERDEEN HOTEL. The Hotel is great. The front desk excellent they gave me all information about the city, they made bookings for Colosseo, Vatican Museums, Galleria Borghese. The hotel is very clean, and the breakfast is great. The location is perfect,... more

Stayed at the Hotel Aberdeen for a night after a long flight from Australia. Found the staff very welcoming, and the rooms clean and comfortable. The airconditioning did battle a little to cope with the very high temperatures, but we certainly managed to sleep, as it was very quiet at night. The hotel is so conveniently placed, an easy walk... more

From the moment we entered the door, the Aberdeen Hotel was great! The twin room was spotless and quiet; its location (Republica Metro/ Via Nazionale/Termini) couldn't have been better. We especially appreciated the helpful men on the front desk staff...Alberto and ??? (sorry!) They went above and beyond with directions, recommendations, reassurance. We will definitely stay here when we return... more

We sayed 3 nites . I agree with the positive comments. The weather was hot and the room was warm even with the air conditioner running full blast. A fan provided by the desk solved the problem. The desk fluent in English and was very helpful with all our requests. Regarding Rome taxis... we got on a metered cab that... more

This is really a great hotel, terrific location...we were able to reach everythig walking. Helpful staff, they make us feel like home, they provided us whatever we asked and we had so many requests because we travelled with our 11 months baby. Above all we have to mention an incredible fresco on the roof of the breackfast room that made... more

In times where finding an hotel in Rome has become a stressful exercise, Hotel Aberdeen appears as the solution to pursue. Very conveniently located in town: straight in the center, very close to all major (few) city transporation means, out of the narrow and tourists busy streets of the deep historical center but still at a walking distance from it.... more

We stayed here for the last night of our Italian trip (3 weeks) we wanted something near the center sights (Trevi, Pantheon) as we stayed near the Colisseum for the beginning of the trip (Hotel Lancelot - great hotel). The hotel is clean and adequate. The desk staff is helpful and the internet is free. They will let you print... more

This hotel was recommended to us, and we were so glad we stayed here. We were coming from a cruise ship and took the train into Rome. The hotel is very close to the Roma Termini (train station). The directions they gave us were perfect. They helped us with our luggage to our room (up a flight of marble stairs).... more

Stayed here for three nights. Alberto at the front desk was great and very helpful. Beds were really uncomfortable. Had a triple and all three beds were like cots. As many have stated, you have to avoid certain rooms by the breakfast area. If they would close the doors to the breakfast room it wouldn't have been so bad, but... more

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at this hotel both pre and post cruise. We chose it based on Rick Steves Guide Book as well as comments on this site. The accommodation was more than satisfactory and reasonably priced. The rooms, including the bathrooms, were very efficient, clean and well maintained. The staff was very professional, courteous, friendly and... more
