Stayed at this hotel June 15-20, 2008 and enjoyed every aspect of it. the room was lovely, good sized for European standards, lovely linens & very clean. the bathroom was big and had a window which i enjoyed. the courtyard area for breakfast was beautiful and i thought the breakfast was very nice, both cold & hot selections and great... more

We just returned from our first trip to Rome. It was also our first international trip. We selected the Hotel Ponte Sisto based on the reviews we read on TripAdvisor. Having heard some of the horror stories that travelers face in Rome hotels, we just wouldn't take a chance on booking some of the lower priced hotels with mixed reviews.... more

We stayed at the Hotel Ponte Sisto for a week in February of 2007. My wife found it on the internet and thought the reviews were good, but one never knows. It turned out to be one of the best European hotels we have stayed in and we have stayed in quite a few. Excellent location, just a few streets... more

Lovely hotel in a quite backstreet near the Tiber but very central for getting around. We walked most places and the hotel was in a great location 5 minutes from the Campo De'Fiori and close to the Ghetto district. No restaurant in the hotel which was fine as discovering fantastic eateries is a must) .The breakfast in the internal very... more

I stayed here for 5 days in mid-May. It's a perfectly fine hotel, in an excellent location. My room was rather small, but otherwise not bad-- the bathroom in particular was excellent, modern, granite counters, a good shower, etc. There wasn't much room to store on'es clothes in the room, and there weren't enough electrical outlets by the desk, so... more

Ponte Sisto is located in a great part of town, close to all the sites while retaining a lot of Roman charm. We stayed in a standard room which was small and clean...nothing amazing. We experienced TWO PROBLEMS during our short stay, air conditioning and the front desk staff. During our stay the weather became quite warm. Thinking there was... more

We spent 3 days in Rome with our 7 years old son, and we loved our stay at hotel Ponte Sisto. We had a suite, which was huge and very quiet. The hotel is perfectly located, we walked everywhere with our son. There is no restaurant in the hotel but accross the brige is the Trastevere, which is the best... more

THis was a wonderful location. We went with my family (12 people) for our parnets 50th weddig anniversary. It was our first trip there . Friends who had lived there recommended this hotel for the location and service. We booked 5 rooms there for 4 nights. The breakfasts were very good, the service was also very good. We could walk... more

Hotel is a not a calm oasis! Just back from staying for 4 nights in mid-May. Hotel is has nice furnishing and amenities. Only problem is that it is very noisy. You can't leave windows open at night as there is an awful lot of street noise (it is on the main pedestrian artery between Trastavere and Campo Di Fiore)... more

We stayed at the Ponte Sisto over the bank holiday weekend for my partner's birthday surprise. It was her first visit to Rome but I spent time there some 9-10 years ago. Knowing the layout of the city I was very keen to find a good hotel in the most accessible location and spent many hours trying to find the... more
