We stayed here for a long weekend and was not disappointed. The hotel was lovely and the room was very nice, big and very well furnished. The breakfast was great and the the roof top terrace is a lovely setting to start the day. You are situated in a nice quiet area slightly outside of the city centre, but you... more

My husband and I stayed at Villa Morgagni for three nights in May. The location is great -- although it's not in the center of the city, it's right around the corner from the Policlinico metro stop. The metro is cheap, simple to figure out, and essential because Rome sprawls. The staff at Villa Morgagni were helpful and spoke excellent... more

The hotel was absolutely first rate and was very well located in a nice quite area yet only minutes walk from the Metro and on a number of bus routes. The room was small, as is common in Rome, but was very nicely decorated and spotlessly clean. The breakfast buffet was excellent with a good choice. The location on the... more

This hotel has wonderful rooms and a beautiful breakfast. We loved our stay and the staff was very helpful. It is located outside of the busy city center and allows for easy access to all the sites via the metro trains. Lots of walking in Rome and this hotel being close to the train station (Policlinico station) makes it very... more

We recently spent 3 nights at Villa Morgagni and had a positive experience. Arrived a little after 10 in the morning and immediately got a room, were greeted very friendly by the staff (got a map, tour brochures, dinner recommendations, information on metro & bus etc). We ended up going to two of the recommended restaurants which both were at... more

Just returned from a fantastic 5 day stay at the Villa Morgagni. The hotel organised for a taxi to collect us and take us back to the airport which was excellent. The room was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The beds had beautiful bed covers and a chocolate was on our pillow on arrival, the bathroom was really big with... more

My Husband & I stayed here for a short break early Dec. A beautiful hotel, helpful, friendly staff. Rooms were on the small side, but we were there for the sights, and the room was so comfortable (incl bed and pillows!!). Lovely bathroom. Great breakfast in the terrace (7-1030) A 15 minute walk from the centre of town, perfect! We... more

I booked this hotel for a romantic getaway with my girlfriend this Summer and it more than lived up to expectations. The hotel is set back from the street, so you don't hear any noise from nearby traffic and it located very close to a metro stop. This metro stop makes getting to the major sites within the city easy... more

The biggest problem with this hotel, that no one has mentioned ,was the bedding. The mattress and the pillow was as hard as a rock. We had such a difficult time sleeping every night. There was no blanket or anything on the bed. I called to see if they had a different kind of pillow, but they didn't. Their standard room... more

My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel in our fantastic trip to Rome. The hotel is very small and cosy, and have a nice atmosphere. The room was very small, but it was absolutly wonderfully decorated! It was also very clean. The location was great if you dont mind taking the metro to get places. It was the mainline... more
