Very nice rooms although a bit small but small rooms are standard in Rom. Location is very good since it is only a 5 min walk to the underground station. Breakfast is excellent. We would book it again. more

Very please with our choice of hotel, I booked a triple room on the ground floor for my Mum, sister and I for our 3 night trip in March 2008, we got a room rate of €150 a night directly from the hotel which I thought was fantastic for a 4 star hotel! The staff were very pleasant, our room... more
Stayed here for a couple of nights with my wife earlier this month; booked 1 night (Saturday) in a Superior room at 204 Euros/night thru bookings.com. Decided to go one day early so contacted hotel directly by phone. Superior room was not availalable for extra night but offered us a Standard room at the same rate! They did say we... more
My wife and I stayed 2 nights winding up a 2 week trip through Italy with my parents-in-law. The hotel is 5 minutes walk from main train station and shows 4 stars on the door. Anna at the front desk was very nice and helpful. Rooms were as advertised and bathrooms were spotless and large. A/C and elevator worked; TVs... more
Stayed for four nights with friends in late April. Hotel is tucked away in quiet location however within a few paces of the Termini and bus stops providing easy access to rest of city. Walking is not a problem though Vatican is about 30mins . Hotel staff could not have been more welcoming or helpful whether it be to provide... more
I found this online, and read the tripadvisor reviews which were very accurate. The hotel was a bit pricey, close to $300, but everything in Rome was high and the dollar very low. It is a hotel that is 5 minutes from the train station, Termini. Its true that it isn't on the most beautiful Rome street, but it didn't... more
Booked through hotels.com and had no problems upon checking in at the Diocleziano. A nice tip: When exiting the Termini station you need to go across the bus stop area and to the right of their to find the hotel. The hotel opened in 2006 so it was very clean, new and satisfactory. The free buffet breakfast was a nice... more
My 17 yr old son and I just stayed at the Hotel Diocleziano for 6 nights on a spring break trip to Rome. This hotel was such a nice find for us and perfectly situated to easily navigate our travels via train, bus, and metro (5minutes walk to any from the hotel). Our room was very clean and the size... more
We stayed in the hotel mid March 2008. I am a keen user of Tripadvisor and if a hotel has a rating of 5 across about 40 reviewers (which the Diocleziano had at that time) to me that means the hotel must be pretty good. The hotel is very clean, reception were very helpful, breakfast is adequate, however, we really... more
My husband and I stayed there 3 nights for our honeymoon. The room is good size with a modern feel. The staff are friendly and the breakfast is good. I especially like the free minibar (non-alcoholic beverages only). The bathroom is quite small and the design of the shower door is not very efficient. My husband has to put his... more
