We had a very nice time at Villa Stella. At first we tried to book a place in Venice proper, with Lido our second choice. We ended up glad we chose Lido because it's so nice and relaxing. The island reminds me of Palm Beach or north Miami beach, and is nice to wander around. The free bikes at Villa... more

The Villa Stella was an oasis of tranquillity and calm from the moment we first arrived slightly harassed and warm one April lunchtime. We had left grey East Anglia at 3.30am, an inauspicious time for any traveller.. The greeting at reception was warm and honest, with big smiles and a real welcome. After walking up several flight of stairs we... more

My family and I decided to look for accommodation on Lido, following advice from a friend who had been to Venice a couople of years ago. We booked Villa Stella, after reading reviews on Trip Advisor. What a pleasure it was to arrive in the gardens of this cute villa. Easy to find, after manuevering our way from the train... more

Lovely Inn and conveniently located . Less than a ten minute walk to the vaporetto stop. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was the average Euopean cold selections, plentiful and nutritious. Price was reasonable. We would stay here again if we return to Venice, considering that staying right in Venice... more

My husband, my mother and myself just returned from Europe. Villa Stella is where we stayed for our Venice adventure. When I first saw pictures of the Villa online I knew I wanted to stay there. Its history appealed to me as a third generation, women of family-run business but I wasn't sure I'd like being on Lido. As it... more

We were very impressed with the hotel. This included the various rooms and the grounds with a variety of flowers. Everything was as they advertised and our stay was wonderful. The staff went out of their way to be helpful and make our stay the best experience possible. They advertised it to be on the third bus stop and there... more

We enjoyed much staying in Villa Stella! Service, bed(s) and breakfast were very good. These things are the most important ones when you travel, aren't they? Next time we visit Venice, for sure, we will stay at Villa Stella again - but we would choose another room (we stayed in a room below street level). It was great to have... more

Everything perfect, lovely rooms, very good breakfast, great price. In the Lobby you find a book with personal reviews about restaurants in Venice + Lido. This can prevent you from beeing cheated! We will surely come again! more

This little hotel is on a main street of Lido, about a mile from the vaporetto stop, and well-served by buses. Despite the proximity of the street, it is quiet, with little traffic noise at the front, unless the window is kept open. The Superior Double room we had boasted a wide four-poster bed. The room was of average size,... more
