Absolutely amazing! Since we were celebrating a special anniversary we were upgradet to a suite. This luxury deluxe suite with view of Florence was confortable, spacious and very well appointed. The marble bathroom was amazingly roomy with deep Jacuzzi tub. The service was courteous and professional and they treated us as if we were the most important guest they had.... more

We are still travelling around europe and are visiting many hotels....but we really miss La Vedetta. It has been so far the best hotel we hqve ever stayed in.. the location is simply breathtaking and the staff is beyond your expectations. I think that after having visited hundreds of hotels all around the world this beats them all....besides the position which is absolutely unique, you get to see all Firenze from the hotel, the service, the staff and the restaurant are way over the top. We will definitely be back soon. more

Whilst the views were phenomenal, our stay in this hotel was marred by the fact that our room smelt of raw sewerage and the shower would not drain causing our bedroom to flood. They were VERY reluctant to relocate us, instead promising that they would have maintenance look at the issue. I'm not convinced if anyone actually did anything other... more

We stayed at La Vedetta during our Florence wedding and honeymoon in Sept '06 and simply loved it! The views were spectacular and so were the grounds. The staff was super friendly, the room was outstanding and clean. We had dinner that was truly art. more

It would be worth considering this hotel for the panoramic views alone. Outside the hotel grounds are extensive and lovely while inside the rooms are beautiful - both bedrooms and public areas.
