What a perfect little hotel! We took a while to find it but when we did we were warmly greeted by Antonia who showed us to our delightful room (the Oval) overlooking the harbour. We, too, were disturbed by the noise on the first night - the disco followed by the dust cart - but that was not the fault... more

Ssshhh don’t tell everyone We returned for our second stay at Case Leone in September 2008 this time bringing our friends along with us after they saw our photographs following our first visit in June 2007. What can I say that hasn’t already been said a thousand times, if you love a beautiful historical building with 5 unique rooms in... more

We stayed in both the Oval room and the top floor suite while we were there in mid September. The B&B was very clean and convenient with excellent views of the old harbor, but what made the choice excellent was the exceptional service provided by Antonia and Nikos(sp?). Antonia was great during our booking process with prompt replys to all... more

We stayed in Casa Leone for 5 nights in September. What a great little hotel. Our room was more like a suite with the bedroom upstairs and a little sitting area on the main floor. It was always very clean and our room was quiet. What maked this hotel really special are the little things and the people. Antonia and... more

Case Leone is a beautiful restored B&B that was formerly home of the Turkish governor. The views from the hotel are very nice harbor views and you can walk just about anywhere quickly. Our room was very nice, the bathroom was typically tiny for an American. The best part was the hospitality and advice from Antonia, who rescued our trip... more

We stayed here for part of our honeymoon, and had the oval room (one of the smaller rooms) as the larger ones were not available. We were delighted with Casa Leone. The warmth and service we received were unmatched, and the breakfast was fantastic--better than a hotel we paid over $800/night for. In regards to people's negative feedback: True, there... more

Our experience was staying with another couple in the Casa Leone Junior Suite overlooking the harbour. While the hotel is charming, and it was great to sit out on the tiny, two-person balcony in the afternoon or evening, we paid for that experience with a very restless night due to thumping music from across the harbour until 3AM, even with... more

It was fantastic, great location, and our room was fantastic, we had the upstairs room with the great balcony overlooking the habour. We would certainly recommend anyone going to Crete to stay at Casa Leone. more

We stayed there for our honeymoon and stayed in the upstairs room, which if I recall correctly, was the honeymoon suite. It had a beautiful porch overlooking the harbor. The staff in the hotel was terrific--Antonia was a pleasure in the mornings and gave terrific recommendations regarding the city as well as day trips to Samaria. She also enabled us... more

My husband and I spent 10 days at this charming little hotel in Chania this August. From the arrival we knew we had made the right choice: it's an ancient house overlooking the Venetian harbour with just 5 rooms, which guarantees perfect service. Our room, Estia, was quiet and ellegantly decorated. We didn't have a balcony, unlike the other rooms,... more
