We stayed in Hafnia in Torshavn the better part of May and June 2007, and the staff took good care of us all the way. Example: When you stay this long, you need to wash some clothes after a while. The manager told me that the hotel washer room was being renovated, but hey! I could come to her house... more

This seems to be the only hotel located in the town centre (the Foroyar Best Western is so far away that renting a car becomes essential for their customers), so if you want to be in central Torshavn, there's not much to decide. The hotel was built in 1951, and it looks like they haven't changed a thing since. My... more

The hotel looks so ugly, and is very misplaced right dead center of the beautiful old part of the city. So of course the location couldn´t be better. The hotel is ok though, but they serve that discusting food they eat at the Islands. The only other nice hotel is located very far avay from the city center, so this... more
