Spacious, comfortable & expensively-furnished rooms. Bathrooms fitted to a high standard. Fantastic, breath-taking views from our room, which meant we were sometimes reluctant to leave and head off to explore the area. Highlights: Arrived on Bank Holiday weekend, which meant Kenmare's population had grown two-fold, at least. Also meant restaurants were fully booked. Despite this, reception staff - Mary, I... more

Myself and my wife stayed for three nights. We stayed in one of the lodges. It was super, all mod cons. Ideal for a family with small children. We ate in the restaurant and the food was first class. The leisure centre was excellent. Downside: The bar is very small. No entertainment at all. They seem to cater more for... more

We stayed for a 2 night break, with three young children. From the moment we checked in, we were made feel so welcome and nothing was a problem. We had interconnecting rooms which were excellent. Breakfast each morning very good. We will definately be back. more

My friends and I recently stayed in the lodges attached to the Kenmare Bay Hotel. The house was fantastic. The bedrooms were as good as any five star hotel bedroom I've stayed in. There were three large bathrooms, a back garden, bar-b-que facilities available, washing machine, dish washer, digital coffee maker, smoothie maker! The town centre is a three minute... more

Positives: 1. This hotel is a 5 min walk to Kenmare town. 2. It is recently refurbished. 3. We were lucky to get a newer room. It was a decent size. Tea/coffee making facilities. Underfloor heating in bathroom. Shower and separate bath. 4. Any requests were met immediately - newspaper delivery, replacement of breakfast in bed request form (as there... more

We spent 4 nights in the 2 bedroom holiday homes attached to the Kenmare Bay Hotel in July 2008. These holiday homes are superb. All mod cons including flat screen tv's in the bedrooms, washing machine, dish washer, large beds, back garden. I could go on. The hotel is just a 3 minute walk from the quaint town of Kenmare... more

The Kenmare Bay Hotel, in the delightful town of Kenmare, was the start of our stay in Ireland. We could not have wished for a better base for our exploration of the South-West of the country. With cheerful and helpful staff they made our stay very special and as in all parts of the world you need a good breakfast... more
