My 4 sisters,2 brothers and I took our mother to Ireland for her 75th birthday this October and had the pleasure of staying at the Moriarty Farmhouse and meeting Brid and Ted. The B&B was lovely and the Irish breakfast was GRAND. Both Brid and Ted made us feel at home and were very helpful in doing some family history... more

Moriarty's Farmhouse looked attractive on their website so we rented two rooms but only stayed one night. In thirty years of traveling I have never stayed anywhere so unclean. There were empty candy wrappers on the nightstand, the towels were used and there were actual potato chip crumbs in the bedsheets! The toilet didn't work and the shower fixture was... more

Friendly welcome, beautiful views over the bay. Padie O'Saes Pub at the bottom of the road. (Padie was a Gaelic Football star) Combined with the surrounding countryside who could ask for anything more. Also good value for money. Roland Stannard Bolton England more
