The hotel room was the size we expected, having stayed in other Ibis hotels. It was clean and modern. We didn't have a harbor view and were told it would be $30/night extra, so we abandoned that idea. The worst problem is that only one lift/elevator was working, so it took FOREVER to go up and down and the lifts... more

Booked with Accor Advantage plus at a Good price 3 nights pre paid, (A harbourview room was at an upgraded cost and its only redeeming feature) had it not been pre paid we may well have left for something else, Staff were friendly and the view was awesome but the rooms are small and cramped and bordering on dirty, Chewing... more

Disappointing stay in a superior location. Another hotel that the website states it has had a "full refurbishment in late 2007" Where?? The walls in the corridors are all badly marked, and to my eyes the hotel is very tired looking. As I checked in behind an African gentleman, the receptionist told him that he had to pay a $350... more

Firstly I will state that I gave the Accor Group 2 months to send me a feedback form. As they failed to do so – I am putting my honest review here. So – first complaint: The rooms no longer have a feedback for in them. Instead there is a card that you put your email address on and they... more

Although this Hotel is close to the Convention Centre in Darling Harbour it is more like a back packers hotel. The entrance foyer is so outdated and the corridors are dark and dingy. The hotel rooms are also small for the price paid. My room had a very noisy bar fridge if you call it a bar fridge at all.... more

We have recently returned from our holiday in Sydney. The rooms in hotel Ibis are very very small - very unpleasant feeling. No good service and we had also bad experience with the staff on reception. Unpolite and very slowly working. By this hotel is excellent only his location and nothing more. more

The Ibis Darling Harbor Has a great location! Although we did not have a room with a view and the rooms are not large, they are comparable in size to many hotels that we have visited in Europe. We did not really find this to be a problem considering the room rates are very good and the location is superb... more

If you would like to experience life in a cell then you can't go far wrong by staying at the Ibis at Darling Harbour. The rooms are tiny, the beds are made for midgets and the furnishings are meagre. The doors seem to be on sprung hinges so that every time a cell mate enters or leaves their room the... more

We arrived at this hotel for a 4 night stay at the end of a 6 week holiday. The room was by far the smallest we have ever stayed in.The location and view make up for it and at £120 a night you wont beat it. The staff were helpful and friendly and the room although basic was clean. Would... more
