I stayed at the Waldorf this past weekend and it was a terrible experience! There is no way this should be a four star hotel, two at the most! The room was dirty (other people's hair on the blankets...ewww), the toilet was cracked and ran constantly, there was no bathroom door, just some weird accordion style door...classy, the shower head... more

It's a good 15-20 minute walk to Central Station and another 30-40 minute walk to Circular Quay, but the apartment was really nice and the staff were helpful. The place was very clean and tidy, apart from the transvestite christmas party near the rooftop pool, it was very quiet also. more

We rented a one bedroom apartment for two weeks. We arrived at 8.30am on the Monday morning and were pleasantly surprised to find our room was ready for us (officially check in was 2pm). We spent 5 nights in a studio apartment at the Waldorf South Sydney and were pleasantly surprised! The room we had was quite spacey queen bed, small kitchen that included dishwasher and microwave/oven and small dining table. Stay for 2 weeks in Waldorf South Sydney for a weekly rate of $650 which include breakfast- aboyt 50% of my last hotel room stay cost. The apoartment are great in design and faciltties ( Free Pay TV, high speed internet) Did not like especially the free light breakfast!!! more
