We stayed couple times in Mercure Hotel Auckland. Very good location for shopping and transportation, very close to harbour. We really enjoyed stay each time we been to Auckland. Excellent services, room is comfortable. Outstanding food and services. However, we have been given wrong price for airport shuttle. We have to catch flight to Dunedin the next day and the... more

We stayed after a long international flight the room was pokey and small, the bath room was a shocker to say the least, it had a cracked vanity the shower went every where except in the shower.Floor when wet was very slippery.Very dated room. It had the basics and all we wanted was sleep, thankfully a lovely comfortable bed. I... more

The Mercure is an old hotel which badly needs an update. The hotel offers valet parking, but this just means they will park it in their driveway (at extra cost) in which they cram about a dozen cars. Its chaotic and the risk of damage to your car is high as people squeeze past with luggage. We were offered a... more

Have stayed in this hotel twice now. First time was for 10 days in 2006 and second time for a week in 2007. We had 2 double beds so that accommodated our family of 4. Rooms weren't huge but suited our needs. It has a great location, right at the bottom of Auckland CBD and very handy to all transport.... more

Had just an overnight stay here. Selected the hotel as it was part of the Accor chain of hotels and I used my Accor Advantage Plus card to get a free night's accommodation as well as an upgrade. Very good location close to the waterfront and downtown shopping. Room was clean, very functional and relatively spacious. Decor was a little... more

This hotel is a 3 and Half star hotel as shown on there web page and is what you would expect. The staff are friendly and helpful. The restaurant has great views. The hotel is a little old but it is in the middle of everthing and is clean and tidy. more

The hotel was in a great location. You can walk all over City Center from the hotel, and there are lots of great restaurants close to the hotel. The rooms were clean and the bed very comfortable. The staff were incredibly helpful and went out of their way to sort out our reservation. more

This hotel was fine. The room was clean and it had all the normal mod cons you'd expect from any city centre hotel. Reception staff were pretty friendly and helped in providing local tourist information. The saving grace about this hotel was the breakfast. We didn't pay that much for the room and it included breakfast which was really nice... more

I was pretty disappointed in this hotel - it is very overpriced is not my idead of a 4*. We booked a harbour view and agreed to pay extra, however when it was no where to be seen I asked to switch and was told there were no other rooms. When my partner insisted they found one - however this... more
