My wife and I stayed here twice. The first time was two nights in May 2007 booked through Expedia. The second time was an unplanned stay in December 2007 - our flight from Prague to Heathrow was cancelled and we stayed at out travel insurers expense. The rooms are extraordinarily comfortably furnished and a real pleasure to settle down into.... more

What an amazing place!!!!! It is true that it is not about what you sell, it is about how you make people feel! First of all, the hotel is very nice. It is a beutiful building from the end of the 19th century, and everything is made and decorated so, that you feel you are at home, not in a... more

Here's the lowdown: 10 minutes brisk walk to the tram and 2 or three stops away to the main attractions which is another 15 minutes. It's in the newer part of town, therefore really not much to see. Beautiful hotel with great furnishings but unfortunately, they assigned me a handicapped capable room which is not to my liking due to... more

Very nice hotel, almost boutique. Personal touch was very evident. Very clean and above standard service. Breakfast was the only let down. Location was good, quiet street and about 15-20 minute walk to the centre. more

My wife and I have chosen Le Palais Prague based on TripAdvisor reviews. The number and contents were highly positive. The hotel is located in a quiet residential area within a walk distance to the main attractions. The service is impeccable. The rooms are very spacious, comfortable and well decorated. It was a memorable stay. We strongly agree with most... more

I have never felt the urge to write a hotel review before (despite hundreds of stays for pleasure and business), but our experience at Le Palais was so tremendously positive that I feel compelled to share it with other travelers. First, my e-mail exchanges with Tereza (reservations manager) in advance of our trip were informative, courteous and remarkably prompt, notwithstanding... more

This is a good hotel but I don't know if it's quite at the superluxury end of the market that some seem to think it is Good points first: Very friendly and helpful check in staff, bar staff, spa staff Lovely views from the restuarant Very nice spa, sauna and steam room facilities free, if limited, minibar But then I... more

My wife and I are just back from a long weekend in lovely Prague. Some general tips first; if you are going in wintertime bring warm clothes (hat, scarf, long underwear etc), zero degrees feels like minus twenty in Prague. Book a guide (for instance try [--]. The site is Norwegian but you can see the number on the first... more

Was expecting better after reading other reviews and checking out hotel website. Nothing was really 'wrong' but equally I didn't feel a 'wow' factor. Breakfast was a shambles, you could wait up to 15 minutes to be seated, even though the restaurant was half empty, you would then wait for the staff to clear/set the tables - not what one... more
