The Tyl is basically perfect if you're just looking for a cheap, clean and friendly hotel in a good location. It's not grand and it's not ultra luxurious but they have nice rooms, the staff and really helpful and it's just a few minutes walk from the main square. more

There are many excellent reviews of this hotel and this is another one. It is the cleanest and friendliest hotel that we have stayed in. To add something a little different - try Matilda's Restaurant only a couple of doors away. Ask the hotel porter for other recommendations - you will not be disappointed. more

We found this hotel good as a base to explore - about 30 minutes to Charles Bridge, 10 minutes to Wenceslas Square and 2 minutes to trams/underground.
