This was like going back in time. In a pleasant way. It was a very relaxing and soft atmosphere. The hotel was wonderful and the staf was great. The food was very good. The hotel was placed in a nice area. It was walking distance to evrything you wanted to see. We will go back some time. We can strongly... more

My four day stay in Prague Sept. 28th -Oct. 2nd was perfect in every possible way. Even if I tried to look around hard, I did NOT find a single thing I didn't like. This is well MANAGED place from the top all the way down to the room service. I was in Prague on business trip and enjoyed every... more

My friend and I recently spent a week in Prague, and whereas we spent the first part of the week in a bed and breakfast 10 minutes from the city center, we treated ourselves on our final two days with a stay in the beautiful Alchymist Hotel, right in the heart of the vibrant Mala Strana district. We visited the... more

What a beautiful hotel with excellent staff. My husband and I selected this hotel after many hours search on the internet and I am happy we did We were picked up from the airport in the hotel Silver Shadow (beautiful) and arrived a little worse for wear after nearly 24 hours flying only to be upgraded from a Junior Suite... more

My wife and I stayed at the Alchymist for 5 nights from Sept 18th to Sept 23rd. We were looking for a hotel with a Spa where we could basically relax for a few days and enjoy good food and wine, the Alchymist certainly met our needs in that regard. The hotel itself is really nice, it has a few... more

I read hundreds of hotel reviews prior to our stay in Prague and settled on The Alchymist Grand Hotel and Spa. I was concerned because of some negative reviews but have discovered there was no reason for concern. The hotel is beautiful. Our room 111 was beautiful, comfortable and well appointed. The bed was very comfortable and the nightly turn... more

we are recently back from a 5night stay at the alchymist it was booked about 10 months in advance, for our honeymoon and all the staff were aware that it was our honeymoon - as I emailed them with this info. I was promised the best deluxe room but the room we got was nothing special with no welcome drinks... more

I feel very sorry about this unpleasant situation that occured with this guest. As it is stated in the review I was in touch with the guest shortly after I got this information. This pure lack of inhouse information between our guest relation and housekeeping department was brought to immediate attention in order to avoid it in the future. Tretments...

Hi - Let me start by saying this is lovely hotel with lots of charm and character. Staff appear when needed and are attentive. Location wise it is on a slight hill about 5 minutes walk from the Charles Bridge [take the road from hotel and turn left - you cannot miss it] Recommend you get transport from the airport... more

I am happy to read that our staff is attentive and people in the service are polite. Let me just clarify the point about the view from the rooms that our hotel does not advertise, so we are correct in provided information. On the other hand Alchymist hotel is located in the historical centre surrounded by the buildings from the...

While on an extended stay in Prague for our 10th Wedding Anniversary, I booked spa treatments at the Alchymist Spa on two separate days, a week apart. We had the concierge at the Aria book these services for us. The Alchymist was just a short walk up the street from the Aria. Our first visit was as a couple for... more

The Alchymist is a beautiful hotel in a perfect location. Our room was generous in size and comfort (although certainly big enough to merit a king-size bed rather than queen). The staff was all polite and helpful. However, beauty isn't all. The Alchymist falls just short of being the luxury hotel we thought we had paid for. For the price... more
