We booked this hotel after reading the reviews on Trip Advisor. We weren't disappointed. The hotel is situated in the city centre and travelling around was a breeze. The rooms we had, although a little small, were spotless and comfortable. Only slight criticism was the noisy a/c but given that we were staying there when it was 35 degrees outside,... more

We found the reasonable rate from hotels.com ( £90 per night ). This hotel is 10 mins walk to the train station ( Nyugati). Good selection for breakfast. The hotel provide complimentary refreshment throughout the day. However, front-desk staff ( night shift) was not friendly at all. He was absolutely uncaring and unwilling to help. more

It's hard to review this hotel, I don't remember too much about it. That's because it did the job perfectly. Friendly staff, very good breakfast, nice comfortable room, good location. So, we just seemed to stay there, feel relaxed, have a good night's sleep, enjoy breakfast and not remember much about it. It was so easy just to feel at... more

For a short stay in Budapest, the Parlament can't be faulted, especially if you're out and about most of the time. Our room was on the 4th floor overlooking the courtyard and was so quiet that we slept in and nearly missed breakfast one day! The bed was extremely comfortable and everything was spotless. We did have a problem with... more

Selected the BW after reading the favourable TripAdviser reviews, but with some trepidation. We have found that "good value" sometimes implies “moth eaten and cheap” and we once had the misfortune of staying at the Best Western in Bayonne (France) - now on our "worst hotels of the world" list. However, the favourable reviews here are correct in our view:... more

This beautifully renovated building is ideally located for sightseeing. The amenities include a huge, well-presented breakfast with an extensive selection of fresh egg choices, sausage, bacon, ham, fruit, yogurt, juice, coffee, etc. The morning buffet staff is very attentive and friendly. Complimentary bottled water & coffee always available during the day. Our room was furnished in a minimal modern style... more

We stayed at Hotel Parlament for three nights in March 2008. It was an excellent hotel; clean, modern, good price and friendly staff. The location is within walking distance of most attractions but you can always catch the tram, which is nearby. more

Stayed at the Hotel Parlament for 3 nights, B&B. (Breakfast is a bit bizarre - lots of salad and meat but enough choice). Really good value hotel, compared to the other 4 star hotels in the area. Although there are several metro stations and bus stops nearby we walked everywhere, about 15 minutes to downtown budapest, 10 minutes to chain... more

Stayed three nights at the Parlament and loved the hotel. Clean, bright and modern (it looked like it had been completely refurbished recently). ROOMS - very modern and trendy, air-conditioned, bright, plenty of room with a large bathroom. RESTAURANT - only had breakfast here but it was very good RECEPTION - very efficient and helpful BAR - limited opening hours... more

We're just back from a long weekend in Budapest. Didn't want to spend a fortune, so got a good deal online for the Best Western Premier Hotel Parlament. And it was really value for money. Location: Firstly, the location is great, we were just a short walk from the Parliament building and the Danube. Also you are very close to... more
