A very nice hotel for the most part... large bathrooms, very comfortable rooms, prompt and polite service. Outstanding location... barely a five minute walk from Union Station and very close to the Capitol and Mall. Small shop in the lobby has great hours (7am-11pm) and was a lifesaver when sunscreen & advil ran out. When we arrived, our window was... more

We got to the hotel and thought "Wow!" about the lobby. Our room was decent. This experience reminds you not to judge a book by it's cover. We go to take a shower and realize there in NO HAIR CONDITIONER, but there is shampoo. We thought it was just forgotten so called for it and was told if we needed... more

I am surprised at how negative some reviews of this place are.I was very, very impressed with it. The lobby is beautiful. The room was just fine. Bed was comfortable. The bathrooms are very nice. I wouldn't quite rate it a 5 star, but it certainly is worth a 4 star. The only complaint I had about the room is... more

I was down here for a 3-night stay last week. Based on what I had read in a few of the reviews, I called a couple of hours before check-in, spoke to a very nice man named Kevin, and asked him to put me in a quiet room. I got room X10 and it was very quiet - it faced... more

Frist let me say that we got a great package with this hotel from Priceline and the cost is a big factor whenever I look at value. If I had paid full price I'm sure I could think of things to find fault with. That said, we spent 4 nights here and were very pleased with our stay and would... more

I got stuck here for only one night for a group conference. If I was staying in D.C. for more than one night I would have bailed and found another hotel on my own. Dirty, worn out room. Lights burned out. My door lock was not functioning properly, I could not open the door numerous times. Front desk staff was... more

Got this hotel through Priceline. Very convenient [the "Circulator" bus stops just up the street], nice, clean. The fire station is somewhat of a problem, but I just used earplugs and wasn't bothered. There is a little store on the corner that sells liquor/wine and the go-withs, and a little take-out place upstairs from that. Reasonable walk to Capitol Hill... more

Where do I begin?? We checked in on a Tuesday afternoon. A couple of hours later I was taking a shower to get ready for dinner and the shower and sink were backing up. I called and they came the next morning to fix it. Well we were lucky enough to have warm weather and beautiful Cherry Blossoms! Because it... more

I was called down to the front desk to receive a message. The clerk wanted a credit card number to put a $1 charge for a phone call. I said, "I didn't make any phone calls. I use my cell phone for everything." She said, "Well, I need a credit card number to charge the call." I said, "Im sorry... more

This hotel was terrible. I would never stay again. First of all, I went with my four girlfriends. We are all early 20s and went for Spring Break. We are not wild at all. We did all the sightseeing things during the day and came in pretty early. The hotel staff treated us like we didn't belong there at all.... more
