After reading all the reviews here on Tripadvisor about the Motel 6 Anaheim Maingate, I knew what to expect when I arrived. Basic standard room, no frills, no extras- but a clean place to stay at a decent price with a pet. WRONG! There are so many reasons why you should BEWARE of this motel. First off pulling up to... more

We stayed there four nights for our trip to Disneyland. The room was clean, large and very basic. We did not have any problems while staying here and I would stay here again. more

the first room we were given had dirty sheets and the refig and microwave did not work. the second room had a dripping sink and the fan in the bathroom didn't work, but we decided to live with it. then they put some people in the room next to us that had a little dog, which the left in there alone,... more

We stayed here for a trip to Legoland and Disneyland with our kids (10 & 8). We had a room on the bottom floor, facing the pool. We chose this hotel because of the price, location, and because it had a hot tub/pool and a fridge/micro in the room. It was two long blocks walk to the Disneyland main gate... more

2 adults & 3 kids visiting Disneyland over Thanksgiving vacation. .....Good: * Clean, comfortable rooms * Friendly & helpful staff * Plenty of towels * Very close to Disneyland (walking distance) * Shuttle from parking lot to / from Disneyland (every 20 minutes, $3 per day, per person - slightly cheaper if you purchase multi-day pass) * Quiet (however, adjoining... more

Just a short walk to Disneyland. The location was great, the room was okay. It was just me and my husband, they gave us a room with 2 beds. I didn't mind. When I checked in the hotel employee made it a point to tell me to make sure to call this 800 number on my paperwork so that she... more

My husband and I wanted to book a fairly inexpensive hotel close to Disneyland. The location was great, just a short 10 minute walk up the road right to the entrance. However our first impression of the room was when we opened the door: the smell was so foul that it was nearly unbearable. Stuffy, moist and mildew-smelling air made... more

Once I saw the great reviews of Motel 6 'maingate' here on TripAdvisor, I knew where I would be staying! Motel 6 was clean, comfortable, and only TWO BLOCKS from Disneyland! The staff was friendly and professional. Our room had 2 comfortable queen beds, well-working mini fridge, microwave, and tv with cable. There are some reports on TripAdvisor about this... more

Stayed in Motel 6 Anaheim maingate for three nights (the week before the 4th of July holiday). We booked two rooms, side by side. I stayed with a small 4-year old boy. It is a very good hotel for the price (about $60 per night) - the rooms are quite large and fairly clean (although I tend not to walk... more
